El proyecto En estado de coma, de la artista María Elvira Escallón, se inició en 2005 como un proyecto documental que buscaba dar visibilidad a las condiciones del Hospital, completamente equipado pero detenido en el tiempo desde hacía varios años. Para ser fiel a esta intención, poco a poco ella fue utilizando estrategias artísticas distintas a las documentales, tales como intervenciones sobre el mobiliario a partir de la recreación de atmósferas del Hospital en su estudio de artista. |
